For all of us who dream of living in a tropical paradise, Mother Nature has created a unique place in the south of Thailand, Cape Phra Nang in Krabi, location of the Rayavadee Premier Resort. Nature endowed the land with lush vegetation, surrounded by sheer rock formations climbing hundreds of feet height. The headland is a hidden place, a charming peninsula with three beaches. One of them, Phra Nang Beach ranks among the world's most beautiful with its fine white sand and crystal clear water. The seascape offers a group of dramatically shaped rock islands bathed in a turquoise sea.

Rainforest vegetation with wild monkeys and exotic birdlife extend from one end of the pristine beach to the other. As a backdrop, the amazing rock towers of the cape stand like sentinels on guard, one of them with majestic Phra Nang cave at its foot.

Legend has it that the spirit of a princess called Phra Nang resides in the cave's heavenly environment. Indeed, it is said to be her headland. At Cape Phra Nang you will find the Rayavadee , a refreshing alternative to other developed hotels. The resort has 98 enchanting two-story pavilions and 4 luxurious private villas spread over 26 acres of coconut groves and tropical gardens bordered by three beaches. The award-winning architecture blends with its natural surroundings to create a unique atmosphere reminiscent of an idyllic southern Thai village.

DELUXE PAVILION (one bedroom): Each two-story Deluxe Pavilion boasts fully-equipped, spacious accommodation and stylish, tropical decor with polished wood, richly-coloured fabrics and hand-crafted details throughout as well as an outdoor terrace with seating. The circular design of the pavilions blends perfectly with the resort’s natural surroundings, echoing the rounded cliffs of the rock formations that characterize the area’s unique landscape.

SPA PAVILION (one bedroom): Our Spa Pavilions boast all of the same luxurious features and comforts as our Deluxe Pavilions plus an exotic garden with an outdoor Jacuzzi, shower, sun lounges and a gazebo for total relaxation.

HYDRO-POOL PAVILION (one bedroom): In our Hydro-Pool Pavilions, the sensitive, low-key design and luxury of Rayavadee’s accommodation is heightened by the addition of a 4.5 x 2.5 metre freshwater hydro-pool situated in a spectacular enclosed tropical garden with sun lounges and a terrace for barbecues. The ideal option for those looking to enjoy indoor-outdoor living in perfect privacy.

FAMILY PAVILION (two bedrooms): Our Family Pavilions boast all of the same luxurious features and comforts as our Deluxe Pavilions plus a spacious additional ground floor bedroom with two queen size beds and ensuite bathroom as well as an outdoor dining area and a terrace for private barbecues, making them ideal for a family holiday. Nestled amongst coconut palms with the resort's sheer cliffs as a backdrop, these pavilions offer plenty of space and comfort to enjoy a holiday of discovery.

FAMILY PAVILION WITH HYDRO POOL (two bedrooms): The spacious Family Pavilions with Hydro Pool offer all of the same features and amenities as our Family Pavilions plus a luxurious freshwater, oval-shaped 4.5 x 2.5 metre hydro-pool set in a spectacular enclosed tropical garden with sun lounges and a dining area to enjoy private barbecues and meals.

THE RAITALAY VILLA (two bedrooms): The Raitalay Villa is set on a sheltered corner of gorgeous Railay Beach, overlooking the azure waters of the Andaman Sea. The Villa’s spacious accommodation features two bedrooms, one with king size bed and ensuite bath, the other with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom, as well as a living and dining room, kitchenette and an outdoor deck with hydro pool.

THE RAYAVADEE VILLA (two bedrooms): The Rayavadee Villa has its own free-form swimming pool with built-in jacuzzi and stupendous views over Phranang Beach. Furnished in elegant, contemporary Thai style, The Rayavadee Villa offers two large bedrooms (a master bedroom with lavish ensuite bath and a guest room with twin beds and ensuite bathroom). In addition, a living and lounge area, kitchenette, poolside dining room, private sauna as well as plenty of space for outdoor entertainment, make it the jewel in the crown of our villa properties.

THE PHRANANG VILLAS (three bedrooms): The Phranang Villas are discreetly hidden amidst a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs with views overlooking world-renowned Phranang Beach. Each villa boasts a master bedroom with ensuite bath and two additional guest bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. The spacious living room, dining area and kitchenette make private villa entertainment a breeze. One villa has a fabulous swimming pool, whilst the other has its own private jacuzzi.

RAYA DINING: Raya Dining offers International Cuisine in an elegant yet informal setting. The intricate carvings of the restaurant’s columns reflect the marine life of the area’s coral reefs, framing the dining room’s delicate gold mural depicting a school of swirling dolphin. Begin your day here with an energizing, wholesome breakfast. In the evening, enjoy a sophisticated menu with dishes that range from light offerings and tasty salads to classics such as succulent lobster, rack of lamb and perfectly grilled tenderloin. Air-conditioned and open-air seating is available.

KRUA PHRANANG: Stroll along a moonlit path to Phranang Beach and experience the ultimate dinner by the sea at Krua Phranang, the resort’s romantic Thai restaurant. Enjoy a menu of classic Thai dishes with specials that include delicious curries, salads, soups, seafood and freshly-caught fish. The dining room offers air-conditioned and open-air seating with views over the stunning beach, limestone cliffs and outlying islands. After a memorable dinner, retire to the outdoor deck for a digestif and stargaze as the sound of the waves break below you on the shore.

RAITALAY TERRACE: Raitalay Terrace offers a Mediterranean-inspired menu in a chic, beachside setting. Open for lunch and dinner, Raitalay Terrace is also conveniently situated next to our free-form infinity pool and offers stunning views over Railay Beach. With a wonderful array of cocktails on offer, this is the perfect spot to take in a magnificent sunset each evening.

THE GROTTO: Aptly named, The Grotto nestles under an ancient limestone cliff on the edge of Phranang Beach. Enjoy a leisurely lunch here with your favourite book or lose yourself in the magic of a perfect sunset as you enjoy cocktails and a menu of light snacks with soft sand underfoot and a hint of romance in the air. AYAVADEE BOUTIQUE: The Rayavadee Boutique is a treasure trove of over 2,500 striking and beautiful items ranging from jewelry, clothes, ceramics, home accessories and antiques that have been hand selected to represent the best of Asian craft, design and ingenuity. Most are sourced from Thailand.

THE RAYAVADEE SPA: At The Rayavadee Spa, our dedicated therapists continually innovate new treatment techniques, refining core concepts to create therapies that impart a deeply felt sense of well being and relaxation. Our extensive offerings include revitalizing facials and scrubs, energizing body wraps, soothing massages and a range of salon treatments that promise relaxation, vitality, balance and inner healing.

ACTIVITIES: Rayavadee’s Activities Centre offers a full range of excursions to Krabi’s most interesting sites as well as half and full-day trips aboard our luxury speedboats to the surrounding islands. Whether you are interested in cultural activities, outdoor pursuits or relaxing in gorgeous natural surroundings while enjoying a gourmet picnic on the beach, we have a programme or activity to suit you. In addition, sea canoes, snorkelling and wind surfing equipment as well as a Hobie Cat are available from our Water Sports Centre on a complimentary basis. Our Fitness Centre is open daily and is located next to the resort’s tennis and squash courts.
